So her are some pics from me and dumpy's first Moab trip. We rolled into town about 10:00 at nite and this is what we awoke to the first morning. Snowing and temp around 30 degrees. So we decide to hit Arches and we pretty much made a full day of it. Around 2:00 it stopped snowing and actually started to get a l nice out.

Thats's when the stupidity began. We thought ahh all the trails are mostly rock we can get a quick ride in. So we picked out a easy trail, that wasn't supposed to have any creek
crossings. Well about 4 hrs later and ten stops to clean mud. This is the aftermath. I actually had to carry my 120 lbs bike(literally) the last 1.5 to 2 miles bc it just wouldn't roll anymore. That was
the worst ride i have ever done. But after a few brews i thought it sure was funny, and i am pretty sure that my only lesson i learned was when riding v brakes in the mud disconnect
so they don't collect mud and bog down or stop.
p.s. i kinda of miss that ranger.

All I am saying is thank god for that lefty! mud issues 0 on the front of the bike atleast. Two trip from hell because three days later the jekyll fell off of Porcupine Rim and shattered! Luckily we were out of film at that point! I still laugh about that trip! (those kids who rented and just ditched the bikes)
