Hey Dumpy O said you throw like a girl and challenged you to a snow ball fight!

It's been a pretty busy week, we had O' s fourth B-Day party at the play zone way out at Mahoney state park. I can't beleive that lil shit is already 4, before i know it i am going to be old. Nothin much went down at work this week, had some dumbass throw their ashes from the fireplace into their bushes out front. Let's say they might need a new paint job and some bushes in the front of the house. Jess left for Peurto Vallarta this morning, she's gone til fri. so it's just me bachelorin it this week, oh wait I have the crumbs with me also. So not much partyin unless we do it here! I still haven't put my fork on yet, my old one is on ebay right now and has some bids, so i am going to get my new hub when i get paid for the old one. So all in all i am sick of the cold already and can't wait til it warms and i am jonesin for a road trip bad, Although we may be going to Hawaii again in march, which won't suck. Atleast it will be warmer.

So her are some pics from me and dumpy's first Moab trip. We rolled into town about 10:00 at nite and this is what we awoke to the first morning. Snowing and temp around 30 degrees. So we decide to hit Arches and we pretty much made a full day of it. Around 2:00 it stopped snowing and actually started to get a l nice out.

Thats's when the stupidity began. We thought ahh all the trails are mostly rock we can get a quick ride in. So we picked out a easy trail, that wasn't supposed to have any creek
crossings. Well about 4 hrs later and ten stops to clean mud. This is the aftermath. I actually had to carry my 120 lbs bike(literally) the last 1.5 to 2 miles bc it just wouldn't roll anymore. That was
the worst ride i have ever done. But after a few brews i thought it sure was funny, and i am pretty sure that my only lesson i learned was when riding v brakes in the mud disconnect
so they don't collect mud and bog down or stop.
p.s. i kinda of miss that ranger.

I MISS THE WARMTH ALREADY!!!!
and i still wish i would have gotten a sunroof on my jeep.
Hey D if it makes you feel any better i have had it pretty cold and wet at work the last week. Riding in the back of an open cab truck is not fun when it is darn right chilly and wet.
Also i decide to write down all the cool stuff from work on here just to remember. Yesterday we got to use the spreaders(jaws of life as the lay person knows them) and cutters. Dude in a jeep rear ended a snow plow. Crunched him all up, we had to cut the body down at the front base of the door and push the dash forward to get his leg out wich had a broken femur and dislocated knee. his upper leg was v shaped and his bone was stickin out past his shin. A big gash on his forehead, but he seemed to be doing good, hopefully he can walk right again. We have had stomache pain calls where they whined and cried more than this guy. He took it like a champ.

So O wanted to go outside to play and help shovel the other day. I think he may have had too much fun. He fell asleep right there eating dinner.
The Strazdas name also got some good news yesterday, I don't know who all knows about my sis being diagnosed with MS shortly after my pops died. She of course doesn't have insurance, well yesterday between the ms society and drug companies she is going to get her meds free of charge. With their income and her as a stay home mom with three chitlins they qualified under some drug company policy. Which is outstanding news bc they estimated around 30 g's a yr for the meds. Which not really anyone could afford, and with ms depending on the type and severity, the symptoms (tiredness, aches, numbness in the limbs ect..) are very treatable with the meds and will make life for her a whole lot easier. That was great news i got and just couldn't keep it to my self.
Oh yeah it is freaking cold outside, D you gotta be insane riding in this crap. Don't forget if you need a ride to call.
